Most builders require a comprehensive set of plans before they can confidently establish project pricing and move forward with construction planning. In many traditional project delivery models, engineering services do not begin until the architectural drawings have been substantially completed and provided to the engineer for review. As a result, clients often experience an additional waiting period after completion of the architectural plans while the required engineering is developed.
